Chagrin Falls, OH (November 3, 2010) – Kathleen Visconsi, a 25-year resident of Chagrin Falls and an active leader of many local organizations, has accepted the position as Director of Community Outreach for the non-profit organization, Your HomeTown Chagrin Falls.

In her new position at the community volunteer organization, Visconsi plans to continue to build awareness for the group and encourage sponsors from throughout Northeast Ohio to become more involved, while encouraging greater outreach programs to attract and build upon the current volunteer base.

“I have admired the work Your HomeTown has done for the community and I am excited to be a part of such a vibrant and active organization,” she said. “My immediate goal is to continue to educate the community and businesses on the programs this organization provides. While most people are very familiar with the Farmer’s Market, Holiday Traditions, Holly Hall, the Herb and Flower Festival, the Home Tour, the summer Art Walk, and the annual Wine Tasting event, they aren’t always aware that it is Your HomeTown Chagrin Falls that organizes and runs these events that bring so many people to our area. My goal is to take this ‘best kept secret’ and make it known to everyone!”

Starting immediately, Visconsi will join Patrice Ambrose, Associate Director of Your HomeTown Chagrin Falls. Together, they will begin planning events for the 2011 year that will continue to address the preservation of the economic vitality, lifestyle, and environment of Chagrin Falls.

While many of the mainstay events will remain, such as the Farmer’s Market and Holiday Traditions, Visconsi plans to introduce some new ideas.
